They help conquer everyday battles through life-changing information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science, and community connections.

Despite miraculous advancements in medicine, there is no substitute for human blood. The Central Blood Bank provides blood products and transfusion-related services to more than 40 hospitals in western Pennsylvania, as well as select communities in northern West Virginia and eastern Ohio.

JDRP is the leading global organization funding Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research. Their strength lies in their exclusive focus and singular influence on the worldwide effort to end T1D. It sets the global agenda for diabetes research and is the largest charitable funder and advocate of diabetes science worldwide.

The Urban Impact ministry invests in the lives of at-risk children, youth, and their families in order to holistically transform our community one person, one family, and one block at a time. Their mission to do their part in fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission, on the North Side of Pittsburgh, has several programs focused on help youth students excel.

To honor and empower Wounded Warriors, the Wounded Warrior Project provides free programs and services focused on the physical, mental, and long-term financial well-being of injured veterans, their families, and caregivers. They supply this generation of warriors with the care they need to live active and healthy lives.
